Keystone/Hot Rod Camaro

Posted Tuesday 05-25-2010

Some of you may have already seen the “spoof” advertisements for the Keystone Light 2010 Camaro build on Hot Rod TV and for that I already apologize but hey it’s all in good fun right? Seriously though Hot Rod Magazine called up and offered the opportunity to build this Camaro for them and Keystone Light. We had a lot of fun building it and got to meet some terrific new people like Jerry Magnuson from Magnuson Superchargers. Jerry and his wife are wonderful people, and their products, employees, and facility are all first rate. Of course a cool car could not be built without cool products and I have many friends to thank for their involvement. Bonspeed Wheels, Pirelli Tire, Hotchkis Suspension, Borla Exhaust, Hurst Shifters, Anvil Auto, Jet Performance, and of course Magnuson all played an important role in this successful build. While we all know that having the right parts is important to any project, it’s the killer paint that makes it stand out! For that I have none other than the one and only, world famous, Pete Santini to thank. He and his crew did an awesome job, even with the ridiculous time frame that comes with a project like this. Thanks to all who were involved and a big thank you to all the guys at Hot Rod Magazine and Hot Rod TV for giving us this opportunity. As a teaser, here is a behind the scenes look at the Hot Rod/Keystone Camaro during the Hot Rod photo shoot. Oh yeah, and a mega-huge thanks to ace camara man Randy Lorentzen for always making our stuff look so dang bitchin!
