Jackson-Dawson Scion Wraps Up Regional Championship at Buttonwillow

TORRANCE, Calif. — This month, Dan Gardner and the Jackson-Dawson team again set a new milestone…two regional championships in one season with a Scion racecar. The team took the points championship in both road racing and time trials with wins in PTE and TTE, respectively. In PTE, the team accrued 1,155 points, 75 more than the second place finisher. TTE was effectively a run-away, with the team garnering 1,265 points, a whopping 440 more than the second-place car. The wins cap a season filled with accomplishments in both classes.
Dan Gardner– “Energy Suspension’s bushings really brought a whole new level of crispness to our Scion road race car. Things simply react quicker when the car is tossed into the turns. The subframe bushings were a huge improvement, and in general deflection everywhere was minimized. The motor mounts help prevent axle hop, and allow us to to put the hammer down early. This is especially important on any front wheel drive car. The whole package has endured literally thousands of track miles of abuse. Nothing has torn, degraded, or otherwise broken down. Our test environment is about as severe duty as it gets. If Energy’s stuff can withstand that kind of punishment, it can take almost anything.
