About DMP FASTENERS
DMP Enterprises was started in 1991 as a custom metal polishing shop called Distinctive Metal Polishing. Over the years we noticed the increasing frustration from our customer of where to purchase automotive type fasteners, thus DMP Fasteners was born. Our facility carries a wide variety of fasteners . DMP carries over 15000 line items in stock with over 1,500,000 PC on hand and the ability to access over 600,000 line items threw distribution centers throughout the U.S. with many vendors able to drop ship anywhere in the world.
DMP stocks metric and American fasteners in polished chrome, polished-stainless, steel, stainless, titanium and brass. Grades stocked are 5, 8, 9, 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9. DMP manufactures our own line of polished chrome and stainless fasteners in house being the only company producing high quality Chrome plated fasteners in California.
DMP Stocks t-bolts, marine lined hose clamps, all thread, electrical supplies including nylon, sealed and solder type connectors, shrink tubing, wire , weather pack connectors, switches and zip ties.
DMP now stocks a full line of XRP Hose Fittings and Hose in stainless braid, nylon braid, push -on, power steering , Teflon and for the serious racer or performance minded HS-79 crimped Teflon. We also carry products from Fragola Hose company and the ability to get in 1-2 days Earls Hose Fittings. Stainless hard-line, BrakeQuip D.O.T brake line machine able to make lines for all makes and model vehicles.

project 55 pro street blown big block
Posted Saturday 05-23-2009Here at DMP we have finally found and started a shop project. It is a 1955 Chevy pickup stepside big window. The truck came with a mustang II front clip and a Chris Alston rear 4 link set-up, other than that it looks like everyone who owend this at one time or another had no idea on how to build or customize a truck correctly. We have torn this baby down to the ground, in the next several month watch as our project truck takes shape. DMP is doing everything in-house, from tear down to paint. We will have detailed photos and video loaded up soon of the stages of progresion. We just sent out the frame to Freddie at A&M Sandblasting in Chatsworth to get ride of 50 yrs of dirt and rust. Their will pics posted soon of the before and after shots.
Well its back from the blasters and know we can see all the problem areas. the boxed in frame in areas has craked so this will be repaired.As you can see were back to a rolling chassis with the addition of Wilwood calipers and rotors. We added a parking brake system form Wilwood since this truck did not have one when we got it. Also we added tubular arms from Fatman Fab now that we are a dealer for them. We have the mock up motor in place to start allowing us to fab up the exhaust and all other components that will be needed to get this thing down the highway.
The bed is now being set up so i can fab in a false bed floor to accomodate the 9" four link setup.
